Return to learning
Ease back in with a short, low-stakes learning task, find out what support providers offer, and be honest about anything that made studying hard before.
Prepare first
- Do a free short online module to rebuild the habit.
- Practise reading and summarising one article a week.
- Refresh basic computer skills: email, documents, uploads.
Questions to ask providers
- What are the entry requirements, and are there alternatives if I don’t meet them?
- Is the qualification accredited, and by whom?
- What academic and technical support is available?
- What are the total fees, including materials and exams?
Identify your support needs
If maths, reading, language or a learning difference held you back before, say so early. A tutor for one subject can make the difference.
